·       Graduate in Mechanical Engineering/ MBA in Supply Chain Management.

·       9-10 years of experience in purchase/procurement.

·       Exposure to ISO/API quality management standards.

·       Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

·       Strong communication and coordination skills across departments.

Job Description:

·     Plan, coordinate, and execute purchase of raw materials (castings, forgings, steel, alloys, etc.), machining parts, bought-out items, and consumables.

· Ensure timely procurement aligned with production schedules and inventory norms.

·  Negotiate price, terms, and contracts with suppliers for cost optimization.

·     Conduct vendor audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and company requirements.

· Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.

·  Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, statutory requirements, and  ISO/API standards.

·  Support R&D/Design team in sourcing new materials and development items.

Qualification:

Skills:

·       Strong knowledge of procurement processes in manufacturing industry.

·       Negotiation and vendor management skills.

·       Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
