Providing specialized and customized advisory regarding
Estate Planning to high net worth individuals and business
concerns.
- Creating appropriate structures for the clients after
understanding their requirements and preferences. This
would include creation of Wills, formation of Private Family
Trusts, Charitable Trusts, Succession Plans, etc.
• Wills - This would entail consulting and advising the clients
on their wishes, priorities, and drafting their Wills
suitably. Periodic review is a part of the process. The
candidate shall have knowledge about Indian Succession
Act, 1925, Hindu Succession Act, 1956, Muslim Personal
Laws, etc.
• Private Family Trusts – This would include servicing clients
with certain complexities and/or specific requirement by
assisting them in forming a Private Family Trust. The
candidate is expected to understand in detail about the
Indian Trust Act, 1882 and also gradually attain
knowledge of how family trusts operate in other parts of
the world. This requires high level of expertise which
would be imparted to the candidate in gradual course of
his work.
• Succession Planning – Devising a plan for certain Business
families, for ownership and management succession for a
business to achieve multi-generational success.
• Charitable Trusts – Helping the clients in creating a strong
structure so that the philanthropy can continue for a
longer period of time.
- Conducting Research in relation to Estate Planning issues
ranging from succession laws to taxation laws prevailing in
various parts of the world.
Attending various interactive sessions about Estate Planning
to make people aware of the importance of creating an Estate
Plan for themselves and their families.
- Performing a wide variety of functions to support the
organization’s Estate Planning practice.
