Role Overview

The General Manager – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for leading the Finance & Accounts function, ensuring robust financial governance, statutory compliance, strategic financial planning, and effective cost management. The role demands a strong business acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to partner with senior management for driving financial performance and supporting growth.

Preferred Background

  • Qualified CA with 15– 18 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts.
  • Exposure to corporate finance, fund-raising, and investor relations will be an advantage.
  • Prior experience in real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, or large diversified groups preferred.

Job Description:

  • Experienced finance leader with expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic business decisions.
  • Skilled in partnering with senior leadership to drive profitability, cost optimization, and sustainable growth initiatives.
  • Strong background in managing end-to-end accounting operations while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations including Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, and FEMA.
  • Proven ability to handle statutory, tax, and internal audits while effectively coordinating with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  •  Adept at treasury and fund management, including working capital planning, cash flow optimization, banking relationships, and fundraising activities.
  •  Experienced in monitoring forex exposure and implementing risk management strategies to safeguard business interests. 
  • Proficient in developing robust MIS systems, dashboards, and accurate financial reporting for management, board meetings, and investor presentations.
  • Effective team leader with a focus on mentoring finance teams, strengthening internal controls, implementing SOPs, and ensuring strong corporate governance and ethical financial practices.
