2. Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Industry Requirement: Candidates must have substantial hands-on experience in specialty chemicals / chemical manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end manufacturing, plant operations, production planning, and operational performance.
Drive process optimisation, productivity, cost control, and capacity expansion.
Manage quality, EHS, supply chain, procurement, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with R&D, sales, and commercial teams to meet business and customer requirements.
Improve operational efficiency across manufacturing facilities.
Candidate Profile:
Currently or previously in a COO, Plant Head, Operations Head, or equivalent senior role in the chemical industry.
Strong expertise in specialty chemicals, chemical intermediates, and batch/process manufacturing.
Proven experience in multi-site operations, quality systems, EHS, and cost optimisation.
Strong leadership, execution, and team management capabilities.
