Having exposure of Tax Assessment

Taxation

• To ensure timely completion of all necessary compliances of GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESIC, TCS etc such as payments, return filings, workings etc.
• To ensure compliances related to custom duty, Bill of Entry Management, GST and Income Tax.
• To assist in assessments of Sales Tax, Income tax, Custom Duty, GST, prepare and submit necessary workings.
• To read and interpret case laws of GST, sales tax, Income Tax etc when needed.

Accounts and finance

• To check and prepare MIS related to sales etc.
• To check and prepare workings, provisions, and pass journal entries for hedging.
• To pass monthly, quarterly, yearly tax accounting journal entries.
• To verify accounting of all the transactions on periodically basis.

Internal Controls

• To ensure proper internal controls are in place.
• To call and arrange vendors as required for procurements as necessary and to scrutinize quotations received from vendors with regards to purchases,  services etc. and assist in selecting best vendors as required.
• To handle internal audit, statutory audit and provide required details to the auditors, consultants and management.
• To assist in preparation of budgets and costing, costing options comparisons.
• To assist in implementation of new ERP.

Documentation Management

• To have check on document required for the purpose of assessments and audits and ensure to keep all the documents and have timely update on the same.
• To keep all necessary working files updated, secured as may be required later for audits and assessments.
