Z-2051 | Vertical Lead

Seeking an experienced project lead who is responsible for overseeing a hyperscale datacenter MEP project. Project lead will lead the project from initiation to close, will be part of hiring subcontractors, working with vendors and tracking inventory of equipment and materials. Project lead should be knowledgeable about regulations, permits, testing & commissioning and project management methodology. Project lead also work well with others, be highly organized and detail-oriented, meet deadlines and strive to stay within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Overall delivery of the project

• Manage Engineering processes which includes TDS, Revit modelling, shop drawings, fabrication

drawings, etc. complete. Generally, the projects are in Revit and shop drawing preparation and

submission happens only in Revit.

• Develop a CMP (Construction Management Plan)

• Develop project schedule, with project deliverables and milestones.

• Develop project S-Curves, cash flow statements, resource schedule, etc. based on schedule.

• Resource management – men, material & machinery (Tools & equipments)

• Coordination with client & client representatives, Architects & consultants.

   • Contract administration – Ensure there should not be any deviation to the agreed contract. And in case there is any deviation to agreed contract with respect to specifications, time, cost and/or any other item same should be highlighted and same getting approved from the client.

• Coordination with Cost Consultants for billing, change orders & amendments, etc. and getting same approved from the cost consultant & the client.

• Coordination with OEMs for client supplied items for receiving right and agreed details like delivery schedule, testing scripts, Revit families, approved TDS, etc. complete.

• Weekly meetings with internal and external customers and ensuring the MOM of the same gets circulated within 24hrs of the meeting.

• MIS – Ensuring preparation and submission, to internal and external customers, of various reports including daily, weekly and monthly reports.

• Ensuring the works are 1st time right. The proper adherence to QA/QC processes.

• T&C – The project’s T&C Planning and ensuring the same is followed through out the process. The general T&C process has 5 levels, L1 to L5, of testing starting from factory test to integrated system

test.

• Innovation is key for improvement. The innovation or innovative solution in terms of cost or time

savings should be the objective.

• Managing team of 75+ own team members.

• Maintaining corporate brand, company image & goodwill.

• Maintaining healthy relationship with all stakeholders of the project.

Qualifications and Education Requirements: -

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering with 20 years’ experience in site execution, project management, cost management and ability to handle multiple stake holders.

• Sound knowledge of MEP services

• Ability to handle the team of 100+ team members.

• Experience in hyperscale data center projects will be of added advantage.

Preferred Skills: -

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of T & C in MEP.

• Knowledge of MEP design & Revit

• Team building skills.

• Knowledge of MSP and S curves.
