Reporting To: Head – Finance / CFO

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our bank’s finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing core financial functions including accounting, taxation, budgeting, expense management, reconciliations, and profit & loss analysis. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of financial regulations, and the ability to manage cross-functional financial operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Financial Reporting:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Taxation:
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of direct and indirect tax returns.
• Liaise with tax consultants and regulatory authorities for audits, assessments, and compliance.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises.
• Monitor budget variances and provide actionable insights to management.
• Expense Management:
• Implement and monitor cost control measures.
• Analyze and report on departmental and operational expenses.
• Reconciliation:
• Supervise bank, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Profit & Loss Analysis:
• Conduct detailed P&L analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance.
• Compliance & Controls:
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits.
