Job Description:

Currency Risk Management-

  • To timely record each transaction of foreign currency – Purchases, sales, inventory, loan book, forwards, payments, forward utilization, cancellations, futures, options, ref rates etc.
  • To trade currency from the bank dealer.
  • To prepare MIS and relevant reports for hedged-unhedged position, hedge cost, monthly costs, benchmarking cost etc.
  • To monitor currency movements, targets, levels and internal research reports.
  • To prepare and submit documents in the bank as required- quarterly, yearly as required.
  • To monitor trades made on all the counters and MTMs.
  • To check and monitor SOFR rates.
  • To manage identify plan and mitigate all interest rate risk and currency risk.
  • To check and prepare foreign exchange gain loss workings for accounting

Commodity Risk Management-

  • To analyze spreads (backwardation or contango) of LME- Base Metal's closing valuation on daily basis, one month to two month/three months, different prompts and proposed date of customer/supplier offers to find a gain or cost in hedging and deciding on early or late pricing or suitable structures.
  • To monitor monthly averaging costs.
  • To prepare & verify daily report of exchange's open positions against hedging, settlementnamounts.
  • To maintaining track records of physical pricing activities like quotation period, shipment purchases, sales, dispatches, priced material, unpriced material, transit material in daily report.
  • To place the orders in LME for hedging, rollovers, short to long term carries, spread locking etc.
  • To prepare & update tin outlook, daily levels, intraday range, tin statistical snapshot & tin LME stocks movements, tin LME inventory data.

Skills:

  • Person should have proficient knowledge of MS Excel MS Word, Power Point & Tally ERP 9.
  • To assist in implementation of new ERP- Microsoft Business Central.
  • Good communication skills. (Must be able to communicate fluently in Hindi, English and Marathi).
