Job Description :

An investment banking president's role includes:

  • Client relationships .
  • Maintaining client relationships and generating asset under management (AUM) from preferred clients .
  • Advising clients .
  • Supporting the team in advising affluent clients on their investments and managing their financial portfolios .
  • Transaction execution .
  • Leading transaction execution by reaching out to investors and lenders, and negotiating term sheets and other transaction documents .

Other responsibilities of an investment banker includes:

  • Developing financial models to value debt and equity.
  • Performing valuation methods.
  • Preparing and reviewing materials for client financing.
  • Developing recommendations for product offerings.
  • Conducting due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation.
  • Creating presentations for client portfolios.
  • Coordinating financial teams and related professionals.
  • Liaising with other professionals to structure and negotiate terms of deals.
  • Examining all financial risks and giving advice.
