The Legal
Coordinator will be responsible for managing and monitoring all ongoing legal
matters, maintaining proper documentation, coordinating with external legal
counsel, and ensuring timely updates and communication across departments
regarding case status and compliance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Legal Documentation & Case Records
- Maintain custody and proper
filing of documentation related to all legal matters
- Handle records pertaining
to:
- DRT (Debt Recovery
Tribunal) cases
- NCLT (National Company Law
Tribunal) matters
- Arbitration claims and
proceedings
- Ensure all documents are
updated, organized, and easily accessible
2. Notice Handling & Legal Coordination
- Review and study notices
received from:
- Statutory authorities
- Vendors and other
stakeholders
- Coordinate with external
legal counsel for appropriate action and responses
- Track responses and ensure
timely submissions
3. Case Tracking & Monitoring
- Maintain a tracker of all
ongoing legal cases with hearing dates and status
- Monitor daily case updates
and orders
- Update records regularly
based on court proceedings and developments
4. Internal Communication & Reporting
- Inform concerned departments
in advance regarding:
- Hearing dates
- Case status
- Required actions or
documentation
- Share updates on a weekly
/ fortnightly basis
- Ensure seamless
communication between legal team and internal stakeholders
5. Compliance & Coordination
- Ensure all legal matters are
handled in line with applicable laws and internal policies
- Coordinate with departments
for documentation, data, and case-related inputs
Skills:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (LLB
preferred)
- Semi Qualified (Dropout LLB)
- Relevant hands-on experience in legal coordination will be preferred
Experience Required:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in legal
coordination / litigation support
- Experience in handling DRT
/ NCLT / Arbitration matters will be preferred
