Job Description:

Understand requirements of Client

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts based on requirements
  • Perform regression testing, system testing, black box functional testing, client UI testing, ad hoc testing, and backend (database) testing.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Understand requirements of Client
  2. Communicate significant issues or developments identified during testing to the manager
  3. Prepare reports to communicate results of the testing activities
  4. Should think from the end user point of view
  5. Revise Documents as the new version comes in
  6. Participate in estimation and planning activities
  7. Track and Prepare Test Execution Status, Results and Summary Reports, Test Coverage and Defects Report
  8. Maintain Traceability against requirements to ensure adequate Test Coverage
  9. Perform manual testing on Web and Mobile apps with rigor and precision
  10. Should be able to interact with clients

Skills:

Manual Testing, SQL, JAVA, SDLC, STLC, Understanding of Agile methodologies (particularly SCRUM).
